SLT East
East is a humanist sans serif typeface,
currently available as a beta release. It comes in six weights with matching Italics. The vertical proportions are slightly narrow, thus making East efficient to use where space is limited. The horizontal proportions are average and its capheight is visibly lower than the ascenders. The Italic has an unusual steep angle of eleven degrees.

The typeface features several sets of alternative characters

SLT Serif
SLT Serif is a Renaissance Antiqua with wide and sturdy proportions and a sense authority. It has bracketed serifs, the lowercase asymmetric with a forward movement, where as the uppercase has a more static design. Characters such as a, j, 3, 9 feature pronounced sharp terminals.
A thin weight challenges what constitutes a usual Renaissance Antiqua. It not only ads an edge to the typeface but also opens up an extended design space for different versions with for example heightened contrast or pronounced features.
